Small steps – Big results

You know how toddlers learn to walk? They are often not successful on the first try. They take some small steps here, and stop. Then they take some small steps there, and stop. This goes on for awhile, until all the small steps turn into a toddler who has now learned how to walk. Mission accomplished!

Thus, taking small steps over a concentrated period of time will result in achieving the large goal. Try practicing this right now. Choose a project or goal that you have been putting off because it seemed like too much work to accomplish. Break it down into small, manageable steps.

Schedule each small step into your calendar for a week. Mark off each small step as you complete it. See how much easier it is to accomplish the project or goal that once seemed overwhelming, simple by doing it in small steps.
