Tuning into the right station

It is not so hard to listen to your voice. Begin to practice listening to your inner voice right now. Every morning this week, take 5 minutes before you start your day to sit and reflect, meditate, or contemplate – whatever suits you. Get comfortable. Don’t think. Concentrate on your breathing and just be. That may be hard for you, but do it anyway.

When you notice that you are thinking about your daily to-do list or what you are going to say to your boss later that morning, acknowledge the thoughs and re-focus your attention on your breath. Do this refocusing as often as is necessary. If morning is not the best time for you, then do it in the evening before you go to bed. The important thing is to do it.

Just 5 minutes a day to get quiet and listen to yourself will get your day off to a good start. You will be more relaxed, you will be more centered within yourself, and you may even find that the answers to some questions or puzzling situations you have will surface. It is one of the simplest and most beneficial things you can do for yourself.

Listen to your inner voice

How does one live success from the inside? Well, it all starts with listening. Listening to what that still small voice withing you is saying. That voice is coming to you straight from your heart, and it is very wise. It has all the answers, if only you would just listen to it.

The problem is that you get caught up in the complexity of your day to day life and all the activities and responsibilities that go along with it. You have got too much static on your radio frequencies to be able to hear that wise voice of yours. Fortunately, the voice does not go away. It just patiently waits until the time comes when you want to or are forced to listen.

But why for some crisis to happen so that you can start listening? Why not make it a habit to try and listen to your inner voice from now? All you need is a few minutes of uninterrupted silence to tune in to your inner voice station. Help your inner voice to help you find success.

How to clear the ‘Block”

The first thing one should do is to speak out. Though it might sound a cliche, sharing your pains and confusions are good. You will feel much lighter as you clear out the clutter in your life. It will make you realize that when you eliminate what drains you, you free up your energy and create more space for the new. You become much more available to having in your life the kinds of people, relationships, success, and work that you really want.

Start by making a list of 5 things that are bugging you in each of these areas: work, home, and relationships. Try to be specific about what you are putting up with, what or who is bugging you, and what you are neglecting and putting off. And when you are ready, do whatever it takes to eliminate those things. This might seem overwhelming at first, but if you stick with it you will see that the rewards are worth it. One by one, you will be able to clear the clutter and create new space for new things. You will enjoy the lighter load.

Formula for Success

Posted in Information on July 11th, 2009 by mon60006 – Be the first to comment

If there were a formula for living success from within, it would look like this:

Being + Doing + Having = Success

But many people have this the other way around. Their formula for success looks like this:

Having + Doing + Being = Success

A majority of the crowd faithfully follow this second formula. They aim at making loads of money before they hit 40, so they could quit their job, find the work that they always wanted to do, and live the life they really wanted to live. In this pursuit of the goal, they slog long hours at work, buy stuff they might never use, alienate their family and live a meaningless life.

With their priorities upside down, its natural to get bogged down in the HAVING stage. They can not pass to the BEING stage because they feel insufficient. It is foolish on their part to think that the money they have, the people they know and the things they possess is what defines their success.

The secret lies in the process of turning the priorities around by following the success from within formula. People should realize that to have a fulfilling, joyful and successful life, it is essential to:

1. BE – yourself
2. DO – those things you do best
3. HAVE – a life, not just a lifestyle.
